Officer Survival for K-9 Handlers   Our 40-hour Officer Survival for K-9 Handlers Course is designed to instill a dominating mind set in officers. Officers need this mind set to prevail over the many dangerous situations they are faced with every day and night on duty. This course offers the latest in bite work, building searches and flashlight techniques. K-9’s will participate in the Simunition training scenarios and live fire shooting. (Careful attention is paid during the Simunition training to ensure the K-9’s safety. K-9’s should have prior exposure to live fire exercises prior to attending this course.) The methods used to instruct this course are designed to help officers learn and retain the information by placing the teams in realistic scenarios. The training drills are videoed. Using a night vision camera, officers can see themselves performing the tactics. This technique will help officers identify their strengths and correct their weaknesses. Officers will receive P.O.S.T credit upon the completion of the training. Course Cost: $500.00
