Our 40-hour Officer Survival II Course is an advanced training course. Officers must first complete our Officer Survival I Course in order to participate in this training. This course is also designed to instill a dominating mind set in officers. Officers need this mind set to prevail over the many dangerous situations they are faced with every day and night on duty.
This course offers advanced techniques in defensive tactics, flashlight techniques, building searches, room entries, bus entries, movement drills and live shoot drills. The methods used to instruct this course are designed to help officers learn and retain the information. Simunition training weapons and real world scenarios are integrated into most all of the training.
The training drills are videoed. Using a night vision camera, officers can see themselves performing the tactics. This technique will help officers identify their strengths and correct their weaknesses. Emphasis is placed on reaction hand shooting and shooting while moving. Officers will receive P.O.S.T credit upon the completion of the training.
