Our 32-hour Low Light Tactics Course is designed to make officers feel more comfortable working in a low light or no light environment. This course offers advanced techniques in building searches, room entries, flashlight techniques, movement drills and live shooting.
The methods used to instruct this course are designed to help officers learn and retain the information. Simunition training weapons are integrated into most all of the training. This allows officers to immediately recognize problems and correct them. Officers will be instructed in the latest tactics for room entry and room clearing. All room entries will be made in a low light environment.
The training drills are videoed. Using a night vision camera, officers can see themselves performing the tactics. This technique has helped officers identify their strengths and correct their weaknesses. Officers will receive P.O.S.T credit upon the completion of the training.
